Ted Trippi
Ted Trippi has 7 years of experience working in the U.S. Senate where he served as a policy advisor on issues related to labor, transportation, telecommunications, technology, economic development and appropriations. Ted has built bipartisan coalitions to advance major legislation and has worked closely with organizations and communities of all sizes to access and navigate federal funding opportunities. Ted began his career in the federal government in 2018 as a Legislative Correspondent for former Senator Doug Jones of Alabama. In 2021, Ted joined Senator Jeanne Shaheen’s office, advising the Senator across a broad policy portfolio while also serving as the manager of the office’s appropriations process.
Ted served as the staff-lead in negotiating portions of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, including the establishment of the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment Program – a $42.45 billion federal investment in broadband network deployment that promises to close the digital divide in unserved and underserved communities across the country. In his appropriations role, Ted supported Senator Shaheen in securing over $300 million in Congressionally Directed Spending for New Hampshire communities, universities and organizations. Having worked for two moderate members, Ted has built strong relationships with offices on both sides of the aisle.
In his free time, Ted enjoys playing chess and spending time with family. Raised in Evanston, Illinois, Ted is an avid Chicago sports fan with limitless hope for the next season.
