Mike Ryan
Mike managed the Riyadh office of the Council from 2016 to 2017. There he was responsible for raising the profile of the Council, external relations, and member relations. He established strategic relationships with the Ministry of Defense, General Authority for Military Industries, Ministry of Investment, U.S. Trade Representative, and the Embassy of the United States to support Council members.
He has extensive experience in the Middle East, working with senior leaders in the public and private sectors most recently hosting leadership from the Ministry of Defense to engage the U.S. defense industrial base. Mike has spent part of his career working with the Middle East Council of the American Chambers of Commerce.
Previously, he worked at the lobby firm, Capitol Capital Group. Mike was primarily responsible at CCG for developing relationships with U.S., Foreign private companies to promote legislation encouraging international relationships, free trade agreements, and foreign investment in the United States or overseas. Prior to joining CCG, Mike worked at the Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute in the U.S. and UAE.
