Garcia Mavinga Sozinho

 

Garcia Mavinga Sozinho brings a wealth of experience in government relations, political strategy, and international project management to MGS. His career spans involvement in local and state government as a legislative assistant and in U.S. political campaigns at the local, state, and national levels, in addition to years of in-country political and government consulting on the African continent.

Before joining the Moran Global Strategies team, Mavinga served as Vice President of International Projects and Client Relations for Luminous Strategies LLC., where he provided U.S. business and investment relations consulting to international clients and worked closely with all the firm’s U.S. and international clients on developing strategic objectives.

Mavinga is also an active member of the United Nations Association of the United States of America (UNA-USA) and serves as Vice President of the Angolan Community Center of Pennsylvania. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, with honors, from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
